He currently covers the Canadian large capitalization gold, base metal, and fertilizer mining companies and has been an equity analyst for 23 years. He has a strong background in the mining industry, having spent two years with Kennecott Canada, a subsidiary of Rio Tinto, and four years with Falconbridge Ltd., where he was involved in corporate development and marketing. Mr. McDonald is a mining executive with over 25 years of experience in mining, corporate development, financial and management roles. He joined Taseko as Chief Financial Officer in 2013, was appointed President in June 2019, and CEO in July 2021.
Prior to Taseko, he held a number of senior roles in the mining industry including CFO of Quadra FNX Mining Ltd. (and its predecessor Quadra Mining Ltd.), a mid-tier copper producer with five operating mines in Canada, Arizona, Nevada, and Chile. He also held senior executive roles with Yukon Zinc Corp., and Cumberland Resources Ltd. prior to its acquisition by Agnico-Eagle Mines in 2007.
Before joining the mining industry, he spent 10 years in public accounting with Deloitte & Touche and Ernst & Young. Mr. McDonald is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) degree from the University of British Columbia.

Jorge A. Ganoza co-founded Fortuna Mining Corp. in 2004 and currently serves as our President and CEO and as a Director on our Board. Jorge is an experienced geological engineer who has worked on mineral exploration, mining and business development projects throughout Latin America since 1995. Before founding Fortuna, he worked in business development at senior levels for several private and public Canadian junior mining companies operating in Central and South America. Kerry Smith worked for 10 years as a mining engineer in Western Canada before completing a MBA in 1992. After graduating in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Alberta, Kerry worked for several coal and copper companies in Western Canada. In 1992 Kerry graduated with honors from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario, with a Masters in Business Administration.
After graduation Kerry joined First Marathon Securities Limited, an independent institutional broker in Toronto, covering small and mid-cap gold, base metals and diamond equities. Kerry joined First Marathon Securities Limited as a mining analyst in 1992 and joined Haywood in 2001 as Senior Mining Analyst and Vice President. Today, he covers the gold sector primarily.

Matt was appointed President and CEO of Marathon Gold in August 2019. He has over 25 years in mining exploration, project development, construction and operation. The Valentine Gold Project is the third mine development project he has been involved in.
Matt was previously the President and CEO of Stornoway Diamond Corporation where he led the C$947M project financing for the Renard Diamond Mine in north central Quebec and oversaw its successful construction and ramp-up.
Prior to Stornoway (and its predecessor companies), Matt was employed by Aber Diamond Corporation (subsequently Dominion Diamond Corporation) as Vice-President, Marketing, and thereafter Vice-President, Technical Services and Control, during which time he participated in the US$230m project financing for the Diavik Diamond Mine and oversaw Aber’s technical and marketing operations during Diavik’s construction, ramp-up and operation.

He has extensive experience internationally in mining, including as President of Teck Cominco Limited (now Teck Resources Ltd.). Prior to joining Teck, Mr. Dean was a founding member of management of the Normandy Poseidon Group, (which became Normandy Mining) a co-founder of PacMin Mining Corporation which became a subsidiary of Teck Corporation in 1999. He was also a co-founder and former Chairman of Amerigo Resources Ltd. More recently, Mr. Dean was Chairman, CEO and founder of Atlantic Gold Corporation, focused on gold exploration, development and production in Nova Scotia, which was sold to St. Barbara Limited in 2019 for $802 million after building its Moose River Consolidated Mine on time and on budget and operating at the lowest decile cost profile in the gold sector.
Mr. Dean is a recipient of the Viola R. Mr. Lewins is a Mineral Engineer with over 35 years’ experience in the mining industry. He has previously worked in Africa, Australia, Asia, North America and the former Soviet Union. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Company and served as Chief Operating Officer from May 2016 to August 2017. Mr. Lewins has successfully managed the development of a number of open pit and underground gold, precious and base metal mines from feasibility study through to profitable operations.
Mr. Lewins has operated extensively at the corporate level in various roles from Executive General Manager to Director and Chief Executive Officer with a number of other mining companies, including MIM Holdings, First Dynasty Mines, Platinum Australia and African Thunder Platinum.
Mr. Lewins received his National Diploma for Technicians (Extractive Metallurgy) from Technikon Witwatersrand, South Africa, a Bachelor of Science degree (Honours) in Mineral Engineering from University of Leeds, England and a Graduate Diploma in Management from University of Queensland.

Tim Wood has served as the Executive Director of The Denver Gold Group, Inc. since April 2011. Prior to joining DGG, Tim managed retail and institutional investment conferences in the U.S. and South Africa, including Mining Indaba. Tim also has extensive experience in publishing and publishing technology having founded several publications, and as an editor for several media enterprises.

Frank Giustra
Frank Giustra is a Canadian entrepreneur and philanthropist who has made significant contributions in various industries. As President and CEO of the Fiore Group, he manages a diverse portfolio of assets and investments in natural resources, entertainment, and lifestyle companies. Giustra is known for his ability to build natural resource companies by accessing capital and engaging in creative deal-making.
One of his more recent projects is West Red Lake Gold (TSX.V: WRLG), a company focused on gold exploration and development in the Red Lake Gold District of Northwestern Ontario, Canada. He also served as the Chairman of Leagold Mining from 2016 to 2019, which was successfully merged to Equinox Gold (TSX: EQX), forming a significant gold-producing company operating in the Americas. Additionally, Giustra was the Chairman of Endeavour Financial from 2001 to 2007, where he acquired, grew, and divested numerous resource companies. Beyond his business endeavors, Giustra is recognized for his philanthropic activities. He established The Giustra Foundation, a Canadian charity that supports initiatives focused on women and children, education, refugee resettlement. The foundation is a founding partner in the Global Refugee Sponsorship Initiative. Outside of Canada, his Giustra International Foundation seeds and supports organizations leading the way in conflict resolution and foreign policy.

Mr. Lassonde also served as President and CEO of Euro-Nevada Mining Corporation Limited from 1985 to 1999, prior to its amalgamation with Old Franco-Nevada. Mr. Lassonde served as a director of Normandy Mining Limited from 2001 to 2002 and of New Gold Inc. from 2008 to 2016. Frank R. Hallam has over 27 years of experience in the mining, minerals and petroleum industry as an operator, principal, and founder of several NYSE.American, TSX and TSXV corporations. His experience includes both equity and debt financing and the execution of exploration, discovery and development programs in Canada, the USA, Mexico and in six different countries in Eastern and Southern Africa. Significant business partners have included Anglo American Platinum Limited, Barrick Gold Corporation, Newmont Mining Corporation, Industrias Penoles SAB de CV, Fresnillo Plc, JCI Limited and Impala Platinum Limited. He has been directly involved in friendly and hostile M&A transactions and has been involved in more than USD $2.0 billion in public offerings in the USA, Canada, and Europe.
In his role as CFO and Director with TSX listed gold exploration company Tan Range Exploration Corp. (1995 to 2002) he set up and administered exploration offices in Tanzania, Ethiopia and Eritrea.
Mr. Hallam was the original founder of New Millennium Metals Corp., a predecessor company to Platinum Group Metals Ltd. In addition to co-founding Platinum Group Metals Ltd. Mr. Hallam was a co-founder (2003) and former CFO and director until 2014 of MAG Silver Corp. Mr. Hallam was a co-founder (2005) and director of West Timmins Mining Inc. that was purchased by producing company Lake Shore Gold Corp. in 2009 for over CAD $ 400 million after the discovery of the Thunder Creek gold deposit. He served as a director of Lake Shore until the billion-dollar take-over of Lake Shore by Tahoe Resources Inc. in April 2016. Mr. Hallam currently serves as CFO & Corporate Secretary of West Vault Mining Inc.

In his most recent role as General Manager Kisladag Mine, Mr. Badylak was responsible for multiple cost saving initiatives and optimization of the heap leaching operations, allowing the company to avoid construction of a capital-intensive milling facility and extend the operation of the heap leach. David Wolfin is the President, CEO and Director of Avino Silver and Gold Mines Ltd. He has over 30 years of public company experience in mineral exploration, development, construction, and operations in precious metals in North America.
He currently serves as President, CEO and Director of Avino Silver & Gold Mines Ltd listed on NYSE American and Toronto stock exchanges. He successfully developed the company from a minority owner of the closed Avino mine in 2001 with a market capitalization of $0.8 M, to successfully negotiating a 100% ownership in the Avino mine in 2006, and then into commercial production in 2012. He successfully grew the company to one with 300-500 employees with a market capitalization reaching as high as $250 M.
Mr. Wolfin learned the business from the ground up by working in the field at mines and operations in Mexico, Nevada and in the finance industry by working on the floor of the Vancouver Stock Exchange in the 1980’s, and several years at Pacific International and Continental Carlyle Douglas Securities firms in the 1980’s. Mr. Bee is a senior mining industry executive, with deep mine development and operational experience. He has an extensive career advancing world-class gold mining projects in eight countries on three continents for both major and junior mining companies. Most recently in 2018 Mr. Bee concluded a third term with Barrick Gold as Senior VP Frontera District in Chile and Argentina to advance Pascua Lama feasibility as an underground mine. This capped a 16-year history with Barrick Gold with positions that included Mine Manager at Goldstrike during early development and operations, Operations Manager at Pierina Mine taking Pierina from construction to operations, and General Manager of Veladero developing the project from advanced exploration through permitting, feasibility and into production.
With his Barrick experience and having had eight years in South Africa working underground gold with Anglo American and open pit copper with Rio Tinto at Palabora Mine, Mr. Bee was well placed to advance projects internationally and domestically as a senior executive. This led to his appointment to various board and leadership positions at various companies. As COO of Aurelian Resources in 2007, he was in charge of project development for Fruta del Norte in Ecuador until Aurelian was acquired by Kinross Gold in 2008. Post-acquisition, moving on from Kinross, where he had also previously worked from 1996 to 1998 advancing projects in El Salvador and Nevada, he joined Andina Minerals as CEO in 2009. Andina and its 6 million-ounce Volcan Gold Project in Chile was acquired by Hochschild in 2013. By this time Mr. Bee had been appointed to the boards of Peregrine Metals and later Stillwater Mining and Jaguar Mining. In 2014, he also assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer of Jaguar Mining, operating mines in Brazil, as the company emerged from a financial restructuring process.

With over 20 years in the industry, Sabrina is an experienced field expert with a passion for ESG (environment, social and governance) strategy, and stakeholder engagement using the modalities of gender and development. As a commercially-minded sustainability and ESG advisor, Sabrina has extensive international experience, including in Canada, USA, South America, Pacific Islands, Madagascar, and Tanzania. She has expertise in mining mega projects with a capex in the multi-billion dollar range, as well as with small and mid-size companies with projects in all phases of mine life.
Sabrina founded SOOP Strategies to create an environment where people can work in a culture of kindness while helping clients achieve their business goals and be sustainable. Her vision is to provide SOOP clients with direct and customized support that will integrate sustainability into the company’s operations and business planning, moving the mining industry as a whole towards more sustainable and successful business practices.
After 12+ years in the security industry, Avi realized that his work – while important – was not meaningful enough to him. He decided to connect his passion for business and strategy with his desire to have a positive impact on communities and environments, leading him to the sector of sustainability and ESG.
Avi is an avid researcher, with his preferred area of focus being ESG reporting in various Canadian sectors, particularly that of mining. Avi is VP Business Development for SOOP Strategies, and leads projects in ESG strategy and reporting, climate change and carbon accounting.
Avi focused his master’s level research into Diversity and Gender Equity in Canadian mining companies, and public policies being used to further facilitate the integration of ESG. Joseph (Joe) Cavatoni joined the World Gold Council in September 2016 to lead business strategy for the Americas which includes oversight of investor relationships, product solutions, research, and marketing as well as the global ETFs platform. He also serves as Principal Executive Officer for the World Gold Trust Services, LLC; President of WGC USA Asset Management Company, LLC; Board Member and President of WGC (US) Holdings, Inc.; and as a member of the Executive Committee.
During his three-decade career in the financial services industry, Joe has developed and demonstrated expertise in the areas of global capital markets, exchange traded funds, asset management, trading, and business/platform development. He also spent more than 15 years working in Asia. Prior to joining the World Gold Council, Joe was a managing director at BlackRock where he was responsible for iShares Capital Markets (Americas) and was a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. His responsibilities also included product development and management as well as running a global team. Prior to BlackRock, he held senior positions at UBS, Merrill Lynch and Bank of America focused on equity derivatives trading, securities financing and lending.

Jody Kuzenko was appointed President & Chief Executive Officer of Torex Gold in June 2020, having previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer since joining the Company in October 2018. She is a senior mining executive with over 25 years of operational and business experience, mainly acquired at Vale (formerly Inco). After the first four years at Inco as Chief Legal Officer, Jody moved to the operational side of the business where she held roles of increasing responsibility in operations management. She has a proven record of execution and leadership in many areas of mining operations including refining, strategy, safety, health and environment, energy and utilities, and community, labour and government relations. Jody holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Ontario, an Honours Bachelor of Arts from McMaster University, and is a Certified Director from the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program.

In addition to his international exploration perspective, Rick brings years of working experience in and knowledge of Alaska to Contango. Rick has managed projects from grassroots discovery through to advanced feasibility, production and closure. Michael Hudson
Michael Hudson is the Managing Director of Southern Cross Gold, a natural resources company engaged in the exploration of precious and critical metals in the Melbourne Zone of central Victoria.
He is an explorationist, geologist and entrepreneur. He graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1990 with a B.Sc. (Hons 1st) in Geology and immediately started working underground at Broken Hill and then as an exploration geologist around the world with Pasminco for 10 years.
Moving to the junior markets +20 years ago, he has developed and raised more than US$200m for mineral exploration properties on four continents and co-founded seven junior exploration companies. Over the last 15 years he has focussed on precious and critical metals and has been involved with numerous discoveries of various commodities, many which are now mines or advanced assets.
He currently sits on the board of junior explorers and developers across four stock exchanges (TSX, TSXV, CSE and ASX) and is passionate about the science of mineral discovery and the teamwork, rigour and persistence required.
He is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and Member of both the Society for Economic Geologists and Australian Institute of Geoscientists.

Mr. Reid is a geologist and capital markets executive with over 20 years of experience focused exclusively in the mineral resource space. Mr. Reid started his career as a geologist with Saskatchewan Geological Survey and Cominco Global Exploration after which he became a partner and senior mining analyst at Sprott/Cormark Securities in Toronto. He was then named Executive General Manager at Paladin Energy, where he was responsible for leading all merger and acquisition, corporate and market related activities. He is the former Managing Director Global Mining Sales at National Bank Financial, where he directed the firm’s sales and trading in the mining sector. Most recently, he acted as President and Director of Sulliden Gold Corporation, until its acquisition by Rio Alto Mining in 2014 and was Managing Director at Aguia Resources Ltd. from 2015 to 2019. He holds a B.Sc from the University of Regina, a M.Sc from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
