First Quantum is a global copper company operating underground and open pit mines across eight countries. First Quantum is one of the top 10 largest copper producers in the world with production of over 800,000 tonnes of copper annually and brownfield growth opportunities to take annual copper production to over one million tonnes. The company has successfully built and commissioned two of the largest greenfield copper projects in Sentinel and Cobre Panama.

First Quantum produces additional metals, including over 300,000 ounces of gold in 2021. The company also produces nickel from its Ravensthorpe mine in Western Australia. Operational excellence, project execution and debt reduction are priorities for First Quantum. The company paid down $2.3 billion of debt in the past two years and a further $1 billion reduction in debt is targeted over the medium-term. The company also has a performance-based semi-annual dividend.
