Eric Zaunscherb is a Canadian geologist with over twenty-five years of experience as a mining analyst. He enjoyed working in London, learning best practices, gaining exposure to European institutional clients and covering the EMEA iron industry but is excited to be back in Canada, working with old friends and new partners at Canaccord Genuity in Toronto. He has confidence in his ability to generate actionable equity investment ideas, with specific mention of highly regarded virtual (video) site visits. Mr Zaunscherb is an early adopter of new technologies and processes, is quick to assist colleagues and thoroughly enjoys the mentoring process. He maintains databases of the reserves and resources of hundreds of projects in over 300 companies globally, useful in comparison market valuations of preproduction companies as well as mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, he maintains a database of the published technical studies needed to assess new and proposed mines. Mr Zaunscherb embraces new industry initiatives in socially responsible investing, ensuring that local communities receive lasting benefit from mineral resource development.
