Eugene was appointed Chief Financial Officer in October 2022, providing strategic financial and capital markets leadership at Hudbay. Since joining Hudbay in 2012, Eugene has progressed through several senior management roles and executive responsibilities, and was most recently Senior Vice President, Corporate Development & Strategy. Ron has a wealth of experience in the mining industry. Mr. Hochstein has worked for the Lundin family directly and as a consultant for over twenty years. Prior to becoming President and CEO of Lundin Gold, Mr. Hochstein served as President and CEO of Denison Mines Corp. (TSX, NYSE MKT) for seven years, having joined a predecessor company to Denison in 1999. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hochstein was a Project Manager with Simons Mining Group and worked at Noranda Minerals as a metallurgical engineer. Mr. Hochstein has a B.Sc. in metallurgical engineering and an MBA. Mr. Hochstein became President and Chief Executive Officer in 2014 and was instrumental in the acquisition of Fruta del Norte.

Mr Alvídrez has extensive experience within the mining industry having previously held the position of General Manager of the Madero mine operated by Peñoles, which is one of Mexico’s largest mines. Mr Alvídrez joined the Peñoles Group in August 1988, since then he has held a number of senior operational and financial positions across Peñoles and Fresnillo, including that of Treasurer, Head of Investor Relations in London and Head of Procurement. Mr. Neumeyer has worked in the investment community since 1984. He began his career at a number of Canadian national brokerage firms. Mr. Neumeyer moved on to work with several publicly traded companies in the resource and technology sectors. Peter is the author of numerous scientific publications on ore deposits and is a frequent speaker at academic and international exploration and mineralogical conferences.

Matt was appointed President and CEO of Marathon Gold in August 2019. He has over 25 years in mining exploration, project development, construction and operation. The Valentine Gold Project is the third mine development project he has been involved in.
Matt was previously the President and CEO of Stornoway Diamond Corporation where he led the C$947M project financing for the Renard Diamond Mine in north central Quebec and oversaw its successful construction and ramp-up.
Prior to Stornoway (and its predecessor companies), Matt was employed by Aber Diamond Corporation (subsequently Dominion Diamond Corporation) as Vice-President, Marketing, and thereafter Vice-President, Technical Services and Control, during which time he participated in the US$230m project financing for the Diavik Diamond Mine and oversaw Aber’s technical and marketing operations during Diavik’s construction, ramp-up and operation.
In 2015, Matt was awarded the Viola Macmillan Award by the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada, and in 2017 he was the Northern Miner Mining Person of the Year and the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year (Mining and Energy, Quebec). He was also a co-founder and former Chairman of Amerigo Resources Ltd. Kerry Smith worked for 10 years as a mining engineer in Western Canada before completing a MBA in 1992. After graduating in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Alberta, Kerry worked for several coal and copper companies in Western Canada. In 1992 Kerry graduated with honors from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario, with a Masters in Business Administration.
After graduation Kerry joined First Marathon Securities Limited, an independent institutional broker in Toronto, covering small and mid-cap gold, base metals and diamond equities. Kerry joined First Marathon Securities Limited as a mining analyst in 1992 and joined Haywood in 2001 as Senior Mining Analyst and Vice President. Today, he covers the gold sector primarily.

Mark Clark has 28 years experience in corporate advisory and public company management.
He was a director of successful Australian gold miner Equigold from April 2003 and was Managing Director from December 2005 until Equigold’s $1.2 billion merger with Lihir Gold in June 2008. He was closely involved in the development and operation of Equigold’s gold mines in both Australia and Ivory Coast.
Mark was appointed Managing Director of Regis Resources in May 2009 and Executive Chairman in November 2016. He retired as an executive of Regis in October 2018. Mark oversaw the development of Regis’ three operating gold mines at the Duketon Gold Project, which culminated in the project producing well over 300,000 ounces of gold per annum.
In Mark’s time at Regis, the company grew from a small explorer with a market capitalisation of around $40 million to the significant gold producer it is today with a market capitalisation in the order of $2.5 billion. Mark is well known in the industry for his strong financial stewardship and focus on delivering shareholder returns.

Mr. Lewins is a Mineral Engineer with over 35 years’ experience in the mining industry. He has previously worked in Africa, Australia, Asia, North America and the former Soviet Union. Mr. Lewins has successfully managed the development of a number of open pit and underground gold, precious and base metal mines from feasibility study through to profitable operations.

Mr Gibbs has 35 years’ mining industry experience. Prior to joining Gold Road, he held senior and executive positions with AngloGold Ashanti, Acacia and Shell-Billiton. Mr Gibbs also served as General Manager at Sunrise Dam, one of the largest underground gold mines in Australia. As AngloGold’s head of exploration for Australasia, Mr Gibbs managed exploration teams across Australia, China, Mongolia as well as exploration interests in south-east Asia.
Mr Gibbs’ experience spans operational management, project studies and construction, HSE management, community engagement, risk and compliance, exploration, mine geology and technical IT.

Tim Wood has served as the Executive Director of The Denver Gold Group, Inc. since April 2011. Prior to joining DGG, Tim managed retail and institutional investment conferences in the U.S. and South Africa, including Mining Indaba. Tim also has extensive experience in publishing and publishing technology having founded several publications, and as an editor for several media enterprises.
He earned a graduate degree in International Relations, and a Diploma in Business Administration, both from the University of the Witwatersrand. He read for the degrees after completing compulsory military service as a combat artillery officer at the conclusion of the Angolan war.

Trevor Turnbull
Trevor Turnbull joined Scotiabank in 2006 to cover mid-tier and emerging gold producers. Mr. Turnbull is a geologist by training and spent nine years in the industry throughout North America and abroad.

He served as a director of Lake Shore until the billion-dollar take-over of Lake Shore by Tahoe Resources Inc. in April 2016. Peter Bell has over thirty years of successful experience in mining geology, mining investment and mining banking. Mr. Bell worked as a geologist in northern Ontario, Nevada, Nunavut, Tanzania, Peru and Denver, including 13 years with Newmont Corporation. He was part of the Leeville Deposit discovery team in Nevada, the Chief Mine Geologist at the Yanacocha Mine and global corporate development geologist in Denver. In 2008, Mr. Bell joined London based hedge fund MKM Longboat as a mining analyst. He built a strong track record as an analyst and investor, becoming Co-Chief Investment Officer for the Mining Equities strategy at Polygon Global Partners in 2012. While at Polygon he also co-founded private equity mining group Hawkes Point Capital. In 2018, Mr. Bell joined National Bank Financial in Toronto, providing mining project due diligence for corporate lending before moving to investment banking. As an investment banker he advised mining clients in corporate strategy, financing and M&A. Mr. Bell is a Professional Geoscientist registered in the Northwest Territories and sits on the Finance and Taxation Committee of the PDAC. He has a BSc in Geology from Western University, MSc (Minex) in Geology from Queens University and a Graduate Certificate in Finance from The University of Denver.

Richard is a geologist with 30 years’ experience in the mining industry and over 25 years’ experience operating in West Africa. He founded West African Resources in 2006, leading the company through its IPO in 2010, major gold discovery in 2016, to first gold production in 2020, completing construction 6 months ahead of schedule and US$20 million under budget.
In 2021 Richard led West African’s acquisition of the 7.8Moz Kiaka Gold Project, including raising over A$136 million in equity to support the transaction. In 2023 Richard and his team secured a further US$265 million in debt funding for the development and construction of Kiaka, which is over 50% complete and remains on schedule to pour first gold in the second half of 2025.
Richard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology and Geophysics from the University of New England and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists.

Jody Kuzenko was appointed President & Chief Executive Officer of Torex Gold in June 2020, having previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer since joining the Company in October 2018. She is a senior mining executive with over 25 years of operational and business experience, mainly acquired at Vale (formerly Inco). After the first four years at Inco as Chief Legal Officer, Jody moved to the operational side of the business where she held roles of increasing responsibility in operations management. He was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Richmont Mines Inc. from 2014 until the sale of the company to Alamos Gold in November 2017. During Mr. Adams’ time at Richmont Mines, production at the company’s principal mine more than doubled, mineral reserves more than tripled, and costs were reduced to make the Island Gold Mine in Ontario one of the lowest cost operating underground mines in the Americas. From 2011 to 2014, Mr. Adams was the Chief Operating Officer at Primero Mining Corporation, and prior to that he was with IAMGOLD Corporation from 2007 to 2011 as the General Manager of the Rosebel mine in Suriname and then the Senior Vice President, Americas Operations. Prior to IAMGOLD, Mr. Adams held various senior operations positions at mining operations located in the Americas. Mr. Adams is also a director of GT Gold Corp and non-executive Chairman of Board of Directors at Omai Gold Mines. Mr. Adams holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mining and Mineral Processing from Laval University in Quebec, Canada.

Raj has over eight years of sell-side research experience having worked previously at another Canadian broker-dealer covering Metals & Mining, and prior to that a Canadian bank-owned dealer covering Precious Metals. Raj started his career in industry at a natural resources company monitoring process operations in the zinc business. He has also worked at a risk management firm where he developed and reviewed risk evaluation metrics for mining and energy companies, and also integrated ESG factors to screen portfolios.

She has served as a non-executive director on the board of Kumba Iron Ore. During his 35 years in the financial services industry, David has worked for a variety of highly regarded firms, most recently as Global Head of Fixed Income Macro Products at Credit Suisse. Prior to that he held senior trading roles at both Credit Suisse and UBS Investment Bank.
David began his career trading at Goldman Sachs, and then moved to Credit Suisse before building considerable asset management experience as a Partner at Bluecrest Capital.
He is currently an Independent Member of the Bank of England’s FICC Market Standards Board and Chairs the Precious Metals working group.
David is also a major supporter of the NSPCC and has raised over £1.5 million by summiting Mount Everest on five occasions. He was the first person to traverse Everest from the North to South in 2007. Randy Smallwood was involved in the founding of Wheaton Precious Metals and is currently the company’s President & CEO and a director. Prior to Wheaton Precious Metals, Mr. Smallwood was the Director of Project Development at Wheaton River Minerals Ltd., his role through its 2005 merger with Goldcorp. He has an extensive career advancing world-class gold mining projects in eight countries on three continents for both major and junior mining companies. Most recently in 2018 Mr. Bee concluded a third term with Barrick Gold as Senior VP Frontera District in Chile and Argentina to advance Pascua Lama feasibility as an underground mine. This capped a 16-year history with Barrick Gold with positions that included Mine Manager at Goldstrike during early development and operations, Operations Manager at Pierina Mine taking Pierina from construction to operations, and General Manager of Veladero developing the project from advanced exploration through permitting, feasibility and into production.
With his Barrick experience and having had eight years in South Africa working underground gold with Anglo American and open pit copper with Rio Tinto at Palabora Mine, Mr. Bee was well placed to advance projects internationally and domestically as a senior executive. This led to his appointment to various board and leadership positions at various companies. As COO of Aurelian Resources in 2007, he was in charge of project development for Fruta del Norte in Ecuador until Aurelian was acquired by Kinross Gold in 2008. Post-acquisition, moving on from Kinross, where he had also previously worked from 1996 to 1998 advancing projects in El Salvador and Nevada, he joined Andina Minerals as CEO in 2009. Andina and its 6 million-ounce Volcan Gold Project in Chile was acquired by Hochschild in 2013. By this time Mr. Bee had been appointed to the boards of Peregrine Metals and later Stillwater Mining and Jaguar Mining. Mr. Stifano is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Galantas Gold Corporation and Executive Chairman of Doré Copper Mining Corp. Mr. Stifano has held a number of senior executive positions including Chief Executive Officer of Cordoba Minerals Corp., Executive Chairman with Mega Precious Metals Inc., Vice President and Chief Financial Officer with Lake Shore Gold Corp Inc., and Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Ivernia Inc. Mr. Stifano has been instrumental in raising over $700 million to explore and fund mining projects, including raising over $500 million at Lake Shore Gold Corp Inc., to develop three gold mines which are currently producing over 180,000 ounces of gold annually, and are now part of the Canadian assets within Pan American Silver.

Chris Lodder
r. Chris Lodder has more than 30 years’ experience working on and managing Greenfields exploration, Brownfields exploration, and mine development with major and junior mining companies worldwide with the majority of his career focused in the Americas. He has led teams responsible for discoveries of compliant resources containing more than 34 million ounces of gold. He was President, CEO and a Director of Barkerville Gold Mines from 2016 until its acquisition by Osisko Gold Royalties in 2019. Chris is also the President of Talisker Exploration Services Inc., an Ontario based mining and exploration services company founded by Mr. Lodder and two partners in 2010, whose principal clients are Osisko Gold Royalties and their associated companies. From 1999 to 2010 he was South American Exploration Manager and later the Americas Exploration Manager for AngloGold Ashanti and prior that he had various management roles with Queenstake Resources in South America. Chris is a volunteer director on the board of the Barkerville Heritage Trust which oversees the management of the Barkerville Historic Town and Park which is a living museum which preserves the history of the Cariboo Gold Rush.

David Anthony
A resident of Canada, Mr. David Anthony has +40 years’ experience in mine project development and operation. His experience includes mine and process plant design, permitting, construction and operation. He has also worked in Canada, Ecuador, Brazil, Indonesia, Chile and Argentina to design, deliver and operate open pit and underground mine assets with CAPEX from $100 million to $3.6 billion and with total material movement to 65 million tonnes per year.
Mr. Anthony joined Asante as Chief Operating Officer (“COO”) in July 2021 responsible to build and lead the Company operations team to refurbish the Bibiani Mine and to become a significant gold producer. Before joining Asante, he was COO of Cardinal Resources Limited, which developed the 5 million oz (reserve) Namdini gold deposit and project execution plan, prior to its purchase by Shandong Gold for more than US$500 million. Previous positions include working with Barrick in Africa for 10 years where he became COO of African Barrick Gold.
Mr. Anthony holds a B.Sc. Mining Engineering from Queen’s University.

Darren Blasutti
Mr. Blasutti was the President and CEO of US Silver & Gold prior to its merger with Americas Silver Corporation (formerly Scorpio Mining Corporation). He was formerly the President and Chief Executive Officer of RX Gold & Silver Inc. and prior to that Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for Barrick Gold Corporation ("Barrick"). He reported to the Chief Executive Officer and played a lead role in the strategic development of Barrick for 13 years between 1998 and early 2011, during which time he executed over 25 gold mining transactions including the acquisitions of Homestake Mining Company and Placer Dome Inc. and the consolidation of the world class Cortez property from Rio Tinto. Mr. Blasutti also led the creation of Barrick Energy Inc. to hedge Barrick's exposure to energy prices and the initial public offering of African Barrick Gold. During his tenure at Barrick, Mr. Blasutti was integrally involved in numerous equity and financing transactions and also led the Investor Relations function. Mr. Blasutti was previously at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where he planned, supervised and managed audits for a variety of clients.

Dr. Garrett has over 25 years of senior executive management experience in the mining industry and an exceptional track record for developing projects, building companies and delivering shareholder value. At Romarco Minerals, she built and led the team that developed the multi-million-ounce Haile Gold mine from discovery through to construction and grew the Company from $20 million market cap to $1.3 billion. At Hycroft Mining, the team has once again, discovered a very high grade system at depth dispelling the notion that Hycroft is all low-grade. She was formerly with US Global Investors as senior mining analyst and portfolio manager. Dr. Garrett holds a Ph.D. in Engineering and a Masters degree in Mineral Economics.

Shaun was previously the Chief Financial Officer of ASX100 company and global-scale Australian gold producer Northern Star Resources, and prior to that, was the Chief Financial Officer of SGX50 company Sakari Resources Plc which operated multiple mines before its sale for over US$2 billion.

Frederick is an international mining executive with 15 years of experience working with companies in the UK, Canada and Australia. Prior to Elemental Altus, he was Managing Director of a UK-listed gold exploration company, Goldcrest Resources PLC and General Manager of an ASX-listed uranium exploration company, Resource Star Ltd. Frederick received the ‘Young Rising Star’ Award at Mines & Money 2018, holds a Master of Arts in History from the University of Edinburgh and was on the founding committee of Young Mining Professionals in London.
